Secher Fine Art & Design acquired stewardship of the Anders Tinsbo Estate by the artist’s widow, Genevieve Trintignac Tinsbo.

Secher Fine Art & Design is an authority on twentieth century Danish art and design, with a particular focus on the CoBrA period. For more than twenty years, they have placed major works of this period in prominent public and private collections.

Alongside works spanning Tinsbo’s decades long practice, hundreds of images, notes and newspaper clippings preserved by the artist were made available for research. This included exhibition materials and journals on the most cutting edge computer technology of the time, as well as Tinsbo’s address book, his passport and his school reports.

Art historian Masja Bentzen Wischmann conducted vital inital work organising the material and compiling a comprehensive exhibitions history as well as a detailed month by month timeline of Tinsbo’s life. She also spent time tracking down Tinsbo’s public works.

In 2026, art historian Nora Høegh was brought onto the project to bring the material to life and find the narrative and through-line that so animated Tinsbo’s production. From this work, she has contributed this artists’ estate website and exhibition, on show at Secher Fine Art in the Autumn of 2026.
